Description
A high-quality 2021 shu pu-erh from Lan Cang Gu Cha, made to recipe 0081 and built on a well-balanced blend of Lao Cha and Gu Shu material from old and ancient tea trees. The compression is fairly dense, yet the tea opens quickly and confidently, holding multiple infusions with ease.
The aroma of the liquor is soft and warming. In the taste, notes of nuts, cherry, and forest berries come to the foreground. At first a woody shade can be felt, but if the infusion is allowed to breathe for 60–80 seconds, the wood gently melts into a deeper berry character.
This tea tones beautifully and helps restore a clear, focused state of mind.
