Organic Song Zhong Feng Huang Dan Cong Oolong Tea 2026, 25g | Phoenix Mountain, Guangdong
Description
Song Zhong (宋种), "Song Dynasty cultivar", is a Feng Huang Dan Cong from Chaozhou, Guangdong, a name traditionally linked to the oldest tea trees of Phoenix Mountain. It was one of the clear standouts of our Dan Cong selection. Offered loose in 25 g packs.
The aroma is highly expressive, full of flowers, honey and ripe fruit. In the cup it is rich yet clean and smooth, with a pleasant sweetness and a long, aromatic finish.
What makes it special is how it develops. With each infusion the tea becomes deeper, while the aroma holds remarkably well right through the session.
We usually drink Dan Cong in the evening, and Song Zhong is perfect for a slow, unhurried session at the end of the day.
